From zydeco to a more soulful house music sound, Nat “Fiya” Landry has modeled his brand over recent years to become one of the biggest and most sought after names globally for the grown and sexy dance music scene.
Fiya was born and raised in the Hollygrove area of inner-city New Orleans. He is a proud graduate of St. Augustine High School and Xavier University. His early musical influences include the Neville Brothers, Irma Thomas, Clifton & Cleveland Chenier, Chocolate Milk, Allen Toussaint and Professor Long Hair.
Fiya first gained international attention when he executive produced several of soul songstress Tracy Hamlin’s independent projects, Better Days and This Is Your Life. FIya also makes a cameo appearance in Tracy’s video for her song Just Talk To Me.
Fiya’s DJ inspirations are Tracy Hamlin, John Khan, E. Sterling Silver, DJ Spen, Louie Vega, Grandmaster Flash and Tiesto just to name a few.
